Testing
Services, LLC (QTS),
with a combined multi-experienced staff of over 50 plus
years, in business since 2004, specializes in providing
Non-Destructive Testing, Inspection, and Consulting services
to the Government, aerospace, DOD, and commercial industry.
Our services include, but not limited to, Radiography,
Liquid Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Eddy
Current, Visual & CWI inspections.
QTS also provides
training in qualifying personnel to level I, II, and/or III
in the NDT methods listed above. We can provide or assist in
welding procedures, welder qualifications, and procedure
qualifications. QTS now offers corrosion testing by means of
Salt Spray (Fog) testing for conformance to military,
federal, and commercial requirements.
QTS also provides
Quality Control and/or Quality Assurance on product
verification or documentation. All of our services can be
provided at remote sites (with the exception of radiography
and salt spray – fog testing) or at our 3,000 square
foot
facility.
Radiography equipment: Gemini
320, 320 KVp, 15 mA variable x-ray device capable of
producing quality radiographic images.
Liquid Penetrant: Fluorescent
– Type I, methods A, B, C, or D, with sensitivity level 3 or
4. Visible – Type II, methods A or C.
Magnetic Particle equipment:
54” wet horizontal stationary unit with 4000 amps AC or HWDC
capabilities and portable Parker contour probe unit with AC
or pulsed DC fields. Also 1500 amp output AC or DC Magnaflux
portable unit.
Ultrasonic equipment: Type II
contact SonaTest model sitescan 240 flaw detector and
thickness measurement instrument with various sizes and
frequency transducers for a wide variety of metals.
Eddy Current equipment:
Nortec 2000D+, variable frequency microprocessor-based
impedance plane Eddy Current instrument for flaw detection
and conductivity testing.
Quality Control / Assurance:
AS 9100B and ISO 9001-2000 certified. Inspection standards
meet or exceed all DOD and Commercial requirements such as
Military specifications, ASTM, SAE, AWS, ASME, and
commercial codes.
